Internet Legends! - 17.10.2018

What a brilliant assembly we had today! Some special visitors came into school to talk to us about internet safety. We loved getting involved in lots of activities and have now qualified as 'internet legends'.

Perimeter - October 2018

During our maths lessons we have been learning to measure the perimeter of shapes. We created our own shapes using paper straws.

Fossils - October 2018

During our science lesson we thought about how fossils are created. We had a go at forming models of different fossils using toy dinosaurs and play dough.

Printing - 19.10.2018

During our art sessions this half term, we have been studying the artist 'Robert Hooke'. We had a go drawing our own fossils using sketching pencils, chalks and oil pastels. We then thought about how we could print a fossil shape. We made our own stamps using string and then painted and printed them.

Angles Galore! - October 2018

This week, we have been learning all about angles. We each had a 'right angle finder' and went around school finding as many right angles as we could. We also made right angles, obtuse angles and acute angles using our bodies.

Contraction Surgery - October 2018

During our spelling session, we looked at contractions. We removed the relevant letters from the words and placed a plaster (apostrophe) where the letters had been omitted.

Music Enrichment day - 08.10.2018.

What a super day we've had today! We started our day listening to a performance by the Lazy Mondays. We then practiced our own class performance of 'A Million Dreams', ready for our whole school assembly.

Obstacle course! - 27.09.2018.

Today we completed a sponsored obstacle course to raise money for the NSPCC. We had so much fun!

Coding! - 17.09.2018

During our computing sessions, we have been learning about Coding using Purple Mash. We have written our own algorithms and also had to debug some algorithms that contained mistakes. Look at how focused we were!

What is beneath us? - 12.09.2018

We went outside during our science lesson today and thought about what was beneath us. We learnt all about the layers of earth and soil and created a 'dirt pudding' model to help us to remember this. We had lots of fun! :-)
